Education Program: Paths to Successful Careers

Podcasts are funded, produced and copyrighted by The Stratton Foundation, which is solely responsible for their content. Our audience is high school and college students interested in careers that integrate art and technology in film, television, gaming and related industries. The episodes are produced in an interview format and offered free for streaming or downloading to MP3 players by the audience. Subscriptions are available via RSS feed. The Stratton Foundation grants rights to reproduce and distribute the episodes.

Objectives

• Be a resource for students, educators and parents
• Help the audience learn about related education and work opportunities
• Help the audience connect and network with individuals willing to offer advice in their areas of expertise
• Deliver to the audience a range of contacts with a variety of backgrounds and experiences that are of interest to those studying or planning careers in the related fields
• Stimulate the audience to seek more information about commercial businesses that integrate art and technology
• Help the audience make a connection between academic theory learned in the classroom with “real world” technology and business opportunities
